As a senior planner, you&#8217;ll provide technical policy analysis, and economic analysis for developing complex regulatory and politically sensitive regulations for the offices within EPH and rules under the rulemaking authority of the State Board of Health.<\/p>\n<p>This position coordinates the development of rules and provides analytical assessments to determine the effectiveness of proposed rules to protect public health and safety. It also utilizes appropriate policy development methods to ensure rules are consistent with the Administrative Procedures Act, other applicable state and federal laws, and ensures consistency with Department and program objectives.<\/p>\n<p>This recruitment is for a full-time non-permanent, Environmental Planner within the EPH, Office of the Assistant Secretary. The anticipated duration of this position is twelve (12) months from the date of hire.<\/p>\n<p><em>Apply early!
