We know it\u2019s a tough world out there for many people and nonprofits.\u00a0 WithinReach has two temporary (six-month) positions open \u2013 with great benefits and potential for full-time \u2013 and we wanted to share with this group in case you know people looking.\u00a0\u00a0WithinReach makes it easier for Washington families to navigate complex health and social service systems and connect with the resources they need to be healthy and safe. When families struggle, we are there to help. We work one-on-one with people \u2013 over the phone, online and in-person (when not on Stay Home order) \u2013 to identify their needs and provide them with immediate support that is close to home.<\/span><\/div>\n

As you can imagine, during the time of COVID-19 many people are struggling with food \u2013 many of whom haven\u2019t had to navigate these services before.\u00a0<\/span>We are hiring two Nutrition Resource Specialists to<\/b><\/span>\u00a0help connect Washington state families to the food resources they need via\u00a0<\/b>WithinReach\u2019s<\/b>\u00a0contact center<\/b>. We use web-based integrated databases and link families to food assistance programs such as Basic Food, WIC, Fresh Bucks, children\u2019s meal sites, food banks, seasonal food programs and other local community resources via live phone calls, email and text messaging.<\/div>\n
