The individual hired into the project and data support position will be responsible for:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p6 ft9\"><span class=\"ft10\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft11\">Researching and summarizing\u00a0<\/span>salmon-related\u00a0data regarding climate change, water availability, glacial and snowpack retreat, water quality and more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p0 ft5\"><span class=\"ft10\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft12\">Conceptualizing and identifying preferred data display approaches for individual datasets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p7 ft5\"><span class=\"ft10\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft12\">Other related tasks as needed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p8 ft6\">Desired Skills and Abilities:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p9 ft5\"><span class=\"ft10\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft12\">Demonstrated background and\/or interest in climate data and effects on salmon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p7 ft5\"><span class=\"ft10\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft12\">Strong writing and research skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p10 ft5\"><span class=\"ft10\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft12\">Ability to communicate effectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p7 ft5\"><span class=\"ft10\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft12\">Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p10 ft5\"><span class=\"ft10\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft12\">Familiarity with ArcGIS Online, Tableau, and WordPress.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p11 ft9\"><span class=\"ft7\">Compensation:\u00a0<\/span>The Project and Data Support Position will be paid $20\/hour and run from March 23, 2020 through December 31, 2020. The schedule is flexible, but should equate to 10 hours per week.
