This administrative position reports to the Coordinator of the Recycling Development Center. This position is responsible for SWM reception and SWM records management and provides support to the Center. The Recycling Development Center is tasked with facilitating research and development, marketing, and policy analysis to bolster recycling markets and processing in Washington (Chapter 70.370 Revised Code of Washington).\u00a0This administrative position will be part of a team passionate about recycling, waste reduction, and implementing the work of the Center to sustainably manage materials and reduce the impacts of solid waste on the environment.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the key work activities of the<strong>\u00a0Recycling Development Center Admin\/Records Coordinator<\/strong>\u00a0are to:<\/p>\n<p>Support the SWM program as Forms, Records, and Information Coordinator and Reception Contact:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain SWM HQ files following retention schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Assist staff to manage paper and electronic records following records management practices and retention schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Stay current on all records and information management requirements, meetings, training, and communications.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for SWM HQ reception, answering and forwarding calls, and maintaining a reception phone schedule.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with the SWM Program Manager&#8217;s assistant and section assistants for phone coverage, mail distribution, staff moves, employee information center updates, and other workplace services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Manage the logistics of the Center&#8217;s 14 member advisory board and support the 2-3 person Center team:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain and update the Center SharePoint site.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain schedules for the board and team.<\/li>\n<li>Manage board meetings, agenda, notes, room reservations.<\/li>\n<li>Perform\u00a0advanced word processing tasks (formatting for accessibility, figure captions, footnotes and endnotes, table of contents, etc.) for Center reports and documents.<\/li>\n<li>Plan travel, process travel vouchers, approvals, and authorization.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and edit correspondence.<\/li>\n<li>Set up and host webinars.<\/li>\n<li>Track and process contracts, grants, and procurements.<\/li>\n<li>Update the Center website content.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This administrative position will help shape the direction of recycling, waste reduction, and solid waste management in Washington state.
