Our goals are to prevent pollution, clean up pollution, and support sustainable communities and natural resources.\n<\/p><\/div>\n The mission of\u00a0Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve<\/a>\u00a0(PBNERR) is to protect, preserve, and enhance the natural resources of Padilla Bay and to operate programs of education, public information, natural resource management, research, and monitoring to conserve and manage estuaries in Washington State and across the nation.<\/p>\n Some of the key work activities for the CTP Coordinator position include:<\/p>\n We are seeking applicants who have strong facilitation and program management skills, take a collaborative approach to their work, and have the ability to communicate and engage across a wide range of stakeholder groups (e.g. scientists, natural resource managers, landowners, Tribal communities, and local, state, and federal entities).\u00a0 Successful applicants will have professional expertise in coastal policy and\/or management, experience coordinating and facilitating instructional and\/or educational programs, have familiarity using needs assessments and evaluations to direct and reform program performance, and an interest in collaborating with the Research and Stewardship sectors to explore emerging questions related to climate science, coastal resilience, and socioecological interactions.
