These funds are available this year only and provided by the Mellon Foundation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students with demonstrated financial need are particularly encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Maximum amount: $1,000<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Awards from this scholarship can be used to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>offset costs of academic program travel, either abroad or domestic<\/li>\n<li>cover expenses related to individual study research that requires travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Awards will vary, have a maximum of $1000, and will be awarded on a rolling basis. The first awardees will be notified in early January 2020, with remaining awardees notified as funding allows.
