The agency reserves the right to make an appointment any time after the initial screening date<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<br \/>\n<strong><u>Required Qualifications:<\/u><\/strong><br \/>\nA Master&#8217;s degree or above with major emphasis in land use, urban, regional, environmental, or natural resource planning, landscape architecture, geography, land use or environmental law, public administration with an environmental emphasis, or closely related field<\/p>\n<p><strong>AND<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Three (3) years of professional experience in land use, urban, regional, environmental, or natural resource planning, and\/or program development.<\/p>\n<p><strong>OR\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Bachelor&#8217;s degree or above with major emphasis in land use, urban, regional, environmental, or natural resource planning, landscape architecture, geography, land use or environmental law, public administration with an environmental emphasis, or closely related field<\/p>\n<p><strong>AND<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Five (5) years of professional experience in land use, urban, regional, environmental, or natural resource planning, and\/or program development.<\/p>\n<p><strong>OR<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One year of experience as an Environmental Planner 3, provided a degree as described above has been obtained.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Desired Qualifications:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Experience and\/or academic training in solid waste management, waste reduction, reuse and recycling and\/or sustainable resource management practices.
