The intern is assigned a variety of projects to aid in the delivery and development of our statewide programs which reached over 24,000 students last year. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in nonprofit and environmental education program development and implementation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p7 ft2\">General Duties<\/p>\n<p class=\"p8 ft3\"><span class=\"ft9\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft10\">Review, analyze and identify existing educational resources<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p9 ft12\"><span class=\"ft9\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft11\">Maintain and organize data in various programs including Salesforce, Sharepoint and Eventbrite<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p10 ft3\"><span class=\"ft13\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft10\">Support and develop internal\u00a0<\/span>program-related\u00a0projects<\/p>\n<p class=\"p8 ft3\"><span class=\"ft13\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft10\">Organize and archive materials into the organization\u2019s resource library<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p11 ft3\"><span class=\"ft9\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft10\">Conduct workshop and organizational outreach support as needed<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p12 ft2\">Desired Qualifications<\/p>\n<p class=\"p13 ft3\"><span class=\"ft9\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft10\">Knowledge of the natural resources sectors including agriculture, forestry and energy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p14 ft12\"><span class=\"ft9\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft11\">Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce, Eventbrite, Canva and FormAssembly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p15 ft8\"><span class=\"ft9\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft14\">Maintains a positive, punctual and professional demeanor while being able to work flexibly in an inclusive team environment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p16 ft12\"><span class=\"ft9\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft11\">Ability to work independently, take initiative and follow through on plans and projects with a commitment to quality in work outcomes.\u00a0<\/span>Solution-focused\u00a0problem solving and critical thinking skills are highly desired.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p17 ft3\"><span class=\"ft9\">\u2022<\/span><span class=\"ft10\">Effective writing and communication skills .<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p18 ft5\">Application Instructions:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p19 ft8\">Students interested in this opportunity should submit a letter of interest, resume or CV, 3 references with at least one faculty member, and a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/2O04t3Z\"><span class=\"ft15\">PEI job application<\/span><\/a>\u00a0to Gail Kramer, Director of Finance and HR, by email at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:gkramer@pacificeducationinstitute.org\"><span class=\"ft15\">gkramer@pacificeducationinstitute.org<\/span><\/a><a href=\"mailto:gkramer@pacificeducationinstitute.org\">.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p20 ft3\">Applications will not be accepted in person.
