Evergreen\u2019s Writing Center offers several options for peer-to-peer mentoring for graduate students. In addition to a designated Graduate Writing Tutor (Will Crites-Krumm), the Writing Center has several other tutors are capable of supporting graduate-level writing assignments. See below for tutor recommendations and hours, how to access tutoring, and key reminders for getting the most out of your work with a writing tutor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Writing Center has four graduate writing tutors this year:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Lilith Piri (MES)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tuesday and Thursday, 12-3pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Jonathan Hammann (MES)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday, 12-3pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Kerry Dunn (MES) – Kerry also has experience with public administration, policy, and grant writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sunday, 12-5pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tuesday, 12-2pm and 4-6pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students can also access writing assistance by visiting the Writing Center in Library 2310 (on the Library\u2019s main floor) during their open hours:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reminders for Grad Students<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Writing Center support students on their academic writing, as well as cover letters and resumes, scholarship and other application essays, personal writing projects, and more. A Writing Tutor can help at multiple points in the writing process, such as idea generation, drafting, editing, and revising. Note that a Writing Tutor is not an editor or proofreader, though they can help students identify and develop strategies to address recurring grammar, spelling, or other issues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
