Christine Svetkovich is the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality’s Northwest Region Administrator. Christine has been with DEQ since 2002. In addition to managing UIC and Stormwater, she has held a variety of positions including DEQ\u2019s Tribal Liaison, Metro Regional Solutions Coordinator, Senior Water Quality Policy Analyst, 401 Program Coordinator, Environmental Justice Coordinator and Nonpoint Source Analyst. Prior to working at DEQ, Christine lived and worked in eastern Russia as a Peace Corps volunteer assisting in various environmental, water and community development projects. Christine has a BS from Northland College in Ashland, Wisc., and a Master\u2019s of Environmental Studies from Evergreen State College, Olympia, Wash.<\/p>\n
