After completing my MES degree, I had the opportunity to explore the natural world through various roles, including working as a park ranger for the National Park Service. My adventures took me to Mt. Rainier, Glacier Bay in Alaska, and the Mississippi River in Minnesota, as well as teaching English and Environmental Education in Costa Rica.

These experiences deepened my connection to nature and inspired my next step in building an Outdoor Education Program for a large county park system in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. In this role, I had the chance to design visitor centers, interpretive trails, and develop educational programming for the community.

As I worked on team building in the parks, I found my passion shifting toward organizational development. Over time, my career evolved to focus on coaching, facilitation, and leadership development, helping organizations improve workplace culture and engagement. I guide teams through workplace assessments and action planning, always with a focus on building relationships and achieving the larger goals of the organization.

Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of leading recognition programs and workplace giving campaigns. I also developed leadership consulting strategies to help others grow in their professional journeys.

Outside of work, I’ve enjoyed raising my family with my husband along the beautiful St. Croix River in Minnesota. We cherish spending time outdoors – whether it’s paddling on the river, biking on trails, skiing down the slopes, or simply enjoying quiet moments together at home.

My passion for the outdoors has driven me to volunteer in our local schools by developing outdoor recreation programs taking kids snowshoeing, skiing, mountain biking, and on wilderness trips in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.

I am grateful for the exceptional education I received in the MES program, as well as the amazing peers and professors I had the pleasure of meeting.
