Dear colleagues,<\/p>\n

We are writing in response to the recent death of Jonathan Rodriguez and the hospitalization of two students as a result of suspected carbon monoxide poisoning in their student apartment. This tragedy impacts us all as a community.\u00a0 Students will experience strong emotions such as anger and grief as well as anxiety about their own safety. Many students will turn to you, their trusted educators, for help and support.<\/p>\n

We want you to know that we are here for you.\u00a0 We are developing a resource guide and planning time for us to gather in the Learning and Teaching Commons when we return in January. Details will be posted on the Learning and Teaching Commons website<\/a> and shared by email over the next two weeks.<\/p>\n
