Editor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.evergreen.edu\/directory\/people\/jolisandoz\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.evergreen.edu\/directory\/people\/jolisandoz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Joli Sandoz<\/a> notes in the preface that \u201cthe most important purpose of a grassroots, varied, and incomplete compendium such as this is to encourage thought. . . . Using what\u2019s here . . . as inspiration for your own contributions to Evergreen\u2019s educations, carries everyone\u2019s learning forward.\u201d From the Handbook\u2019s opening advice once given to a new Evergreen educator \u2013 \u201cKeep an open mind\u201d \u2013 to the closing list of additional resources focused on Evergreen\u2019s wide-ranging educational practices, the Handbook provides 200 pages of information and expertise to draw from.
