Please answer a few short questions so we can ensure a good balance of participants and learn a bit about your interest in this work. For faculty, this work is compensated at the regular summer institute rate, and counts toward your 10 days of paid summer institute time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please submit your <a href=\"https:\/\/evergreenkatief.sjc1.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_brXbmModwgBV8A5\">application<\/a> by Friday, <strong>May 29<\/strong>. A member of the convening team will be in touch with you by June 8, about whether you have been accepted to the institute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The linked <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1tjSomgyIIR67HzFT2r-PAD4AKMr_S26R0wucRlLzLlA\/edit\">program<\/a> includes both a Week-by-Week schedule and a list of all the offerings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Safety<\/strong><br> This year\u2019s institutes will be held remotely. We are encouraging conveners to think creatively about what a day\u2019s worth of professional development work looks like, and&#8211;as with the best online teaching&#8211;to mix synchronous and asynchronous modes of working. When you register, you\u2019ll be asked for any needs you might have to support your participation in a remote modality.\u00a0<br><br><strong>Compensation<\/strong><br>Attendance at the two Big Bets workshops at the end of June does\u00a0not\u00a0count towards your 10 paid summer institute days. <br><br><strong>Equity &amp; Inclusion<\/strong><br> Many of these institutes fulfill the requirement for faculty professional development in inclusive excellence, culturally-relevant pedagogy, and cultural competence laid out in the June 2017 MOU.
