I wanted to clarify that any changes to your teaching modality (moving from hybrid\u00a0or all in-person\u00a0to remote) need to be approved by the curriculum team. If you need to make such a change, please send a message to\u00a0curriculumteamdl@evergreen.edu<\/a>.\u00a0We\u00a0are most likely to approve that change if\u00a0someone on your teaching team, or someone in their immediate family, meets one or more of the CDC\u2019s\u00a0high-risk\u00a0criteria, though we realize there may be other emergent reasons.\u00a0On a related note, the DL listed above is the best contact point for any catalog updates\u00a0that require a swift response.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why are we insisting on\u00a0a formal approval process? First and foremost, we need to be aware of the potential impact for your students, who may have moved to\u00a0the area\u00a0with the explicit goal of attending\u00a0classes\u00a0in-person. We are already seeing some complaints from students and we want to make sure we are prepared to respond. Secondly, we are responsible for providing accurate data to the state about how many of our offerings are in person and how many are remote.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
