Every year faculty participate in equity-focused institutes, but a relatively small percentage of attendees report what they have learned through their participation. This&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/nam02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.evergreen.edu%2Fsites%2Fdefault%2Ffiles%2FMOU%2520Mandatory%2520Training%25202017.pdf&amp;data=04%7C01%7Cwilliaas%40evergreen.edu%7Cb5ea000a5d7b4167288208d92f646db9%7C22adcff7c06f49a68f2050711c40ddaa%7C0%7C0%7C637592930822199838%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C1000&amp;sdata=1fi4v83JnBoHax90J4dhauWGgZ7OgSsoAKuzc%2F8Huv8%3D&amp;reserved=0\">2017 MOU<\/a>&nbsp;articulates our shared goal of providing \u201ceducation that is culturally competent, culturally relevant and [which] acknowledges the negative effects of bias.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IESS will continue to partner with the Learning and Teaching Commons to provide DEI and anti-racism training options through our summer institutes; they are also developing a college-wide training curriculum.
