The college\u00a0will\u00a0consult with the             campus community\u00a0to\u00a0determine\u00a0the best means             of\u00a0accomplishing\u00a0this goal.\u00a0Members of our community             will be able to apply for exemptions to this requirement, based on             medical,\u00a0religious\u00a0or personal reasons.\u00a0<strong>More information,             including how to\u00a0submit\u00a0proof of vaccination or request             an exemption will be provided in the coming months.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0             \u00a0             Evergreen is working closely with other             Washington public colleges to build policies and systems to achieve             the goal of\u00a0campus\u00a0community vaccinations.\u00a0We are             tracking the latest science and best practices to inform             our\u00a0actions, which\u00a0are\u00a0being coordinated with state             and local health authorities. With this decision, Evergreen joins             Washington State University, Western Washington University, and             Central Washington University in requiring that students, staff and             faculty be vaccinated before fall quarter.\u00a0             \u00a0             We also understand getting a vaccine can be a             complex process, so we are working with campus health-care             providers and student leaders to help members in our community             overcome barriers to getting vaccinated. \u00a0Please see our             regular Community Ready Monday updates for details. \u00a0             \u00a0             A warm thank you to all in our community who             have already contributed their thoughts to our COVID team on this             and\u00a0related\u00a0issues.\u00a0On May 24 and in the coming             weeks we will offer more opportunities for conversation and             questions via forums with staff, students,\u00a0and faculty.
