Dear Evergreen community, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Provided below are updates\non the<\/em> presidential search process.<\/em>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Virtual Sessions Recap<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you to everyone who contributed to\nseveral successful community sessions with candidates last week. A special\nthank you to Susan Harris, Ivana Trottman, Correan Barker, Dawn Barron, Melinda\nBratsch-Horsager and GSU, John Caraher, Julie Slone, George Bridges, Ben\nHargett, Electronic Media, Media Services, the web team, social media team and\nso many others for helping offer engaging and informative sessions. Students,\nstaff, faculty, and alumni all contributed in many helpful ways. We hope our\nmedia teams and hosts were able to find some rest over the weekend. For those\nof you who attended and helped facilitate a successful Art\nof Giving<\/a>\nevent on Saturday, may we lift you up this week, help you find times for break\nand recuperation, and celebrate you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Evaluation of Candidates: <\/strong>Feedback Due Tuesday at 9:00am<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The candidate\nfeedback form<\/a>\nis now available online. Please submit one entry for each candidate following\nyour participation in virtual sessions or search committee interviews, and\nreview of introductory videos, bios, or application materials. Submissions\nare due on Tuesday, April 27 (tomorrow) at 9:00am<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s Next?<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our final\ncandidates have been offered to tour the Olympia and Tacoma campus locations\nthis week, with COVID-safety precautions. Later this week, the Board of\nTrustees will begin deliberations. Search advisory committee session notes,\nadvisory final report, presidential\nprospectus<\/a>,\nsearch committee interviews, BOT interviews, virtual sessions, and community\nfeedback will all be available to help inform the board\u2019s consideration on\nselection and hire. The board is also scheduled to meet next Wednesday, May 5.\nAn announcement could potentially be shared sometime within this timeframe. A\nemail update, press release, and web updates will immediately follow an\nannouncement by the board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
