Hello All,
\nFirst Peoples, Campus Climate and Belonging is excited to continue our work\naround creating a more inclusive and supportive community. When looking at our\ncampus climate survey it stated that only 14.9% of staff agree that\nEvergreen provides enough resources to foster the success of a diverse faculty\nand staff. 52.6% of our faculty of color have considered leaving\nEvergreen due to feeling unwelcome or isolated.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEI work is not\nsimply our work on campus it runs through aspects of life. To provide more resources,\nto help create dialog, and community we put together a group of parents talking\nabout Ibram Kendi\u2019s Antiracist Baby and the work of parenting antiracist\nchildren. Kendi is speaking tomorrow night through Seattle Arts and Lecture\nSeries and we will be holding  a conversation about Kendi\u2019s work during\nthe Equity Symposium. Please register for the symposium happening April 13-15\nand check out the lineup at https:\/\/www.evergreen.edu\/equity\/evergreen-equity-symposium<\/strong><\/a>\n.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
