Dear colleagues,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I hope that Week 1 is off to\na powerful start for you and your students! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a meeting with our\nwonderful Advising staff colleagues today, Kathleen and I asked them what they\nwere hearing from students this week: the #1 thing they are noticing is that\nmany students are trying to change their registration and are not hearing back\nfrom faculty, which is provoking a fair amount of anxiety. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I know you all are drowning\nin email. And I know that many of you may not be accepting new students at this\nstage in the week. But please do take a moment to respond to student queries,\neven if your response is no. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the answer is no, please\nconsider sending students to https:\/\/www.evergreen.edu\/advising<\/a>, where \u2014 among other things\n\u2014 they can view an enrollment report that will show them which programs and\ncourses still have open seats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
