Dear Evergreen community, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Provided below are <\/em>updates<\/em><\/a> on the<\/em>\npresidential search process.<\/em>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interviews<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Search\nCommittee<\/a>\nconducted interviews with twelve candidates on March 10 and 12. The committee\nthen met to deliberate on Tuesday, March 16 and identified a diverse group of\nhighly qualified candidates to recommend to the Board of Trustees for further\nconsideration. The Board met on Monday, March 22\nand voted to move forward with interviewing seven candidates. Following\ninterview sessions with the Board of Trustees, the Board will then select and\ninvite finalists to virtual forums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalist Forums and Presentations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please consider adjusting your calendar holds to\nApril 7 and 8 as potential dates for virtual forums. These dates may be\nadjusted, dependent on candidate availability and schedule capacity. This will\nbe done in accordance with governance times for students and faculty, and with\nconsideration to the Evergreen Equity Symposium<\/a>\nprogramming schedule during week three. More detail on forums, including specific dates, times,\nformat, and invitations, will be shared once\navailable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Student-Informed Process <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In\ndirect link to their academic work with the Master of Public Administration\nprogram, a current Evergreen Tacoma student will be informing and supporting\nthe community finalist forum process and solicitation of candidate feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community Deliberations and Feedback<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feedback\nfrom finalist\nsessions<\/a>\nwill be gathered during the finalist processes and throughout the week that\nfollows those sessions. More information on candidate feedback collection will\nbe shared as soon as available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Survey Reminder<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presidential search community survey<\/a> will remain open throughout the search. You are encouraged to\ncontinue circulating the survey link and to take advantage of the opportunity\nto provide input. Feedback from our community is incredibly crucial to the\nprocess. We will continue to provide updates, as available, via campus\nannouncements and the presidential search web page.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
