I\nam happy to announce that 2021 commencement plans are well underway! To\nparticipate in this year’s ceremony, students should apply to graduate by April\n1st. Below, I have included the email sent yesterday to all graduate and\nundergraduate students who may be eligible to graduate this year. Please share\nthis information with potential graduates in your areas as you are able.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If\nyou have any questions, please don\u2019t hesitate to ask. Thank you all for helping\nour graduates as they near the achievement of their academic goals!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My name is Lori Klatt and I\nam the Registrar at Evergreen. I am writing so I can be among the\nfirst to congratulate you on getting close to completing your degree\nrequirements. What an accomplishment! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may be thinking about graduating\nthis year. If that is in your plans, you can let us know by applying to graduate<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are interested in\nparticipating in this year\u2019s virtual commencement, please complete your\ngraduation application no later than Thursday, April 1<\/strong>st<\/sup><\/strong>. Graduates who apply by this date\nwill receive a memorabilia box from Evergreen\nwhich includes a cap, tassel, printed program, diploma\ncover, and other goodies. Your diploma will arrive in the\nmail separately, after all your credits are officially posted to your\nrecord. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You should apply now even if you\naren\u2019t sure you want to participate in this year\u2019s\ncommencement. That way you\u2019ll be all set if your friends, family or loved\nones suddenly let you know how much they were looking forward to seeing your\nname in the program or ceremony. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you do not get your application in\nby April 1, 2021, you can still apply to graduate and receive your diploma\nby mail once your credits are finalized, but your options\nto participate in this year\u2019s ceremony will be limited. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
