Dear faculty colleagues \u2013 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The United Faculty of Evergreen and\nthe college have come to agreement on two memoranda of understanding (MOUs;\nattached). We had tentative agreement on January 17. The agreements were\nratified and then signed on February 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first\nagreement updates an earlier fall MOU regarding COVID safety, and extends many\nof those provisions through summer 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second\nagreement concerns Title IX, and comes in response to policy changes adopted by the college this past August<\/a>, following new rules from the federal\nDepartment of Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
