Dear Colleagues,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With all the\ncontinued challenges we are facing due to COVID-19,\nboth individually and collectively, many of us are working harder to ensure we\nprovide quality services to our students. The resiliency and adaptation\ndemonstrated by our staff and faculty every day, continues to be\ninspiring. Showing our appreciation for one another,\neven from a distance, is a great way to remain supportive and connected.\nWriting notes of appreciation is just one way to express our gratitude for the\nwork that we all do and a simple way to give back to the Evergreen community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Employee Recognition and Appreciation workgroup has\nmade notes of appreciation a regular activity in fall, winter, and spring. In\nthe fall there were 308 letters of appreciation submitted. Let\u2019s see if we can\nincrease that number this quarter! This is a great opportunity to come\ntogether to acknowledge the work of our colleagues and to encourage a culture\nof gratitude in the workplace.<\/strong> Especially now, gratitude such as this is\nappreciated more than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These simple notes thanking colleagues for the good work we\ndo only take a moment to write and make such an impact. Please take a quick\nminute or two to write a note of appreciation<\/strong> <\/strong>via the <\/strong>Employee Appreciation Notes Submission Form<\/a>. Your words will be transferred to a certificate that will\nthen be delivered to the recipient. Your notes may also be shared at the\nEmployee Recognition and Years of Service event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to making your colleagues\u2019 day, each quarter\nthere will also be a random drawing for those who participate.<\/strong> Three authors and the recipients of their notes will have the\nopportunity to win a prize. Prize for this quarter is\nyour choice of an Evergreen branded item from the Greener Store (up to a $25\nvalue). So take a quick minute to think about those of your colleagues that you\nwould like to acknowledge, and complete the Employee Appreciation Notes Submission Form<\/a>.\n<\/strong>It is an opportunity to recognize the big and\nsmall efforts we make every day to help our students and each other succeed. The\ndeadline for this quarter\u2019s drawing <\/strong>is Friday, February 12, 2021<\/strong>.\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n
