You\nare invited one and all to a rare opportunity to watch our Evergreen-Tacoma\ncolleague Dr. Gilda Sheppard’s long-awaited new documentary film SINCE I BEEN DOWN<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This\ntimely work of art has been accumulating an avalanche of accolades: DOCNYC\n2020 Audience Favorite. Winner of\nthe 2020 Social Justice Film Feature Documentary Gold Prize. One of Seattle Met<\/a>\u2019s top movies not to miss. Seattle Times<\/a> feature by Evergreen alumn Naomi Ishisaka.\nPlease see below for a poster with a lovely quote from Gilda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting\nthis Friday 2\/5 at noon and ending Wednesday 2\/10 at 5pm, the film will be\nexclusively available to the Evergreen community for asynchronous streaming in\nthe “virtual screening room<\/a>”\nthat we have created for “Reimagining Community Safety.” (Please\nnote: no recording of any type will be allowed.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gilda\nwill be giving the week 6 Art Lecture<\/a> 11:30-1 Weds 2\/10. Stay tuned for an\nannouncement with more details about that event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
