Dear Evergreen community, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Provided below are updates on the presidential search process.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Search Committee Training <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On January 22, the Presidential\nSearch Committee<\/a>\nparticipated in a \u201cMinimizing Bias as Practice Learning\u201d training, facilitated\nby Patricia Narvaez-Wheeler, MSW. Patricia is an anti-racist educator, equity\nand inclusion consultant, and learning and development professional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Priority application deadline is Friday,\nFebruary 19. To date, Karras\nConsulting<\/a>\nhas received 24 applications, which are currently under review by the search\ncommittee. Please share the Presidential Search Prospectus<\/a> with others that may have\nan interest in applying for the position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interviews<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interview dates for the initial round will be\nheld on Wednesday, March 10 and Friday, March 12. The search committee will\nbegin discussing, reviewing, and editing interview questions this afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Advisory Committee Discussion <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Search\nAdvisory Committee<\/a>,\nwill reconvene on Thursday, February 18 to discuss search updates, selection\ncriteria, process, and timeline, including community forums for finalists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalist Community Forums<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once finalists are\nrecommended by the search committee to the Board of Trustees, selected\ncandidates will be invited to virtual community forums. Forums will\noccur in late March or early April (sessions\nwill NOT take place during spring\nbreak). Sessions will be\nheld for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and advisory committee. More\ndetail on forums, including invitations, will be shared once available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Survey Reminder<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presidential search community survey<\/a> will\nremain open throughout the search. The Karras team is regularly reviewing\nsubmissions and contacting those who request it. You are encouraged to continue\ncirculating the survey link and to take advantage of the opportunity to provide\ninput. Feedback from our community is incredibly crucial to the process. We\nwill continue to provide updates,\nas available, via campus announcements and the presidential search web page<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
