Dear Colleagues,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With all the continued challenges we\nare facing due to COVID-19, both individually and collectively, many of us are\nworking harder to ensure we provide quality services to our students. The\nresiliency and adaptation demonstrated by our staff and faculty every day,\ncontinues to be inspiring. Showing our appreciation\nfor one another, even from a distance, is a great way to remain supportive and\nconnected. Writing notes of appreciation is just one way to express our\ngratitude for the work that we all do and a simple way to give back to the\nEvergreen community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Employee Recognition and\nAppreciation workgroup has made notes of appreciation a regular activity in\nfall, winter, and spring. In the fall there were 308 letters of appreciation\nsubmitted. Let\u2019s see if we can increase that number this quarter! This is a\ngreat opportunity to come together to acknowledge the work of our colleagues\nand to encourage a culture of gratitude in the workplace.<\/strong> Especially now,\ngratitude such as this is appreciated more than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These simple notes thanking\ncolleagues for the good work we do only take a moment to write and make such an\nimpact. Please take a quick minute or two to write a note of appreciation<\/strong> <\/strong>via the <\/strong>Employee\nAppreciation Notes Submission Form<\/a>. Your words\nwill be transferred to a certificate that will then be delivered to the\nrecipient. Your notes may also be shared at the Employee Recognition and Years\nof Service event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to making your\ncolleagues\u2019 day, each quarter there will also be a random drawing for those who\nparticipate.<\/strong> Three authors and the\nrecipients of their notes will have the opportunity to win a prize.\nPrize for this quarter is your choice of an Evergreen\nbranded item from the Greener Store (up to a $25 value). So take a quick minute\nto think about those of your colleagues that you would like to acknowledge,\nand complete the Employee\nAppreciation Notes Submission Form<\/a>. <\/strong>It is\nan opportunity to recognize the big and small efforts we make every day to help\nour students and each other succeed. The deadline for this quarter\u2019s drawing\n<\/strong>is Friday, February 12, 2021<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
