Dear\nCommunity,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Martin Luther King stated, \u201cThe arc of the moral\nuniverse is long but it bends toward justice.\u201d The unprecedented events of last\nweek, from the election of the first African American and Jewish senators in\nGeorgia, to the violent assault on democracy in our national and state\ncapitols, instill many with both hope and fear for our collective future. \nNext week marks the celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.\u2019s Birthday and\nthe inauguration of a new President and Vice President.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a community, we are providing opportunities to come\ntogether to analyze and discuss the historical precedents, racial and economic\ninequalities, and political polarization that brought us to this moment. \nWe will also explore the visionary possibilities that inspire our social\njustice values and promote peace. In this spirit, we invite you to join in two\nlunch-time events for learning and community conversations on Fridays, Jan.\n15 and Jan. 22, 12-1:30.  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
