Dear Colleagues \u2013  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welcome back! We hope your break was restful and\nrestorative. Here are some Resources and Reminders for the upcoming weeks: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attendance forms<\/strong> are\ndue to Registration and Records no later than Friday of week one (Jan 8). Don\u2019t\nforget that students can continue to add and drop programs throughout the week.\nThey may do this using a registration form<\/a> or, if you are a program coordinator, you can enter\nan override online<\/a> which allows admitted\nstudents to complete their registration through my.evergreen.edu until 4 pm\nFriday. Please help students find and process the resources they need. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration Closes on Day 10 (Jan 15), <\/strong>so if you have a student who is not thriving, please\ndirect them to an academic advisor as early as possible (at intakea@evergreen.edu<\/a>). Sometimes\ngetting out of a program is better\u2014academically and financially–than staying\nin. Please help students land in a learning environment that works for\nthem.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responding to Students:<\/strong> Responding\nto student inquiries can be a powerful form of recruitment and retention. When\nstudents \u2013 and potential students \u2013 email or call with questions, please try to\nget back to them in a timely manner. For those of you\nwith underenrolled offerings, we hope you will continue admitting\nstudents through the end of the week.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dates and Deadlines:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 <\/strong>\u2022     \nFall quarter student evaluations were due January 4, 2021.<\/strong> Please\nturn in your evaluations, if you haven\u2019t already! Delays in posted evals can\nmean holds on financial aid, or graduation and career delays, and more,\nwhich are very stressful for students. If you are still awaiting late work\nfrom students who have otherwise completed your fall program, be sure to post\nan \u201cincomplete\u201d with a due date if you have not yet done so. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 \u2022      Please turn in your\nsyllabus and community agreement through my.evergreen.edu<\/a> by Friday, January\n15th.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 \u2022      A reminder that\nthe full afternoon of Wednesday, January 6 (1-5) <\/strong>is\ndesignated for faculty curriculum planning.  Please use this time for\nyour program\/course planning, including making decisions about your\n2022-23 schedules. Please note that 2022-23\nprogram summaries are due January 15, 202<\/strong>1 and 2022-23\ncatalog copy is due April 2, 20201 <\/strong>(through my.evergreen.edu) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer Undergraduate Research\nFellowships<\/a> (SURF) faculty applications are due January\n25, 2021 at 5:00pm. <\/strong> <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kutter Fund for Microbiology\nResearch<\/a> applications\nare due January 29, 2021 at 5:00pm<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plato Lecture Series Award<\/a> applications are due February\n5, 2021.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n
