Thank you.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the beginning of this year, I outlined four priorities for our\nwork this year:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Teaching and learning during a pandemic;\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li>Stabilizing our budget and enrollment toward sustainable levels;\u00a0<\/li><li>New Academic Directions; and\u00a0<\/li><li>A re-examination of our student affairs and student engagement portfolios in the context of a smaller college with fewer staff.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Work is\ncontinuing at a steady pace in all these areas.&nbsp;&nbsp; Collectively, this\nis a heavy load, which creates a workload burden that is further complicated by\nfurloughs.&nbsp; I\u2019ve participated in a variety of meetings for staff and faculty\nthis quarter, along with several informal gatherings, where we have discussed\nthese priorities and the actions we are taking.&nbsp; I\u2019ve\nappreciated these opportunities to engage with you on these priorities, along\nwith other topics.&nbsp; At a Student &amp; Academic Life staff gathering last\nweek, colleagues very clearly outlined the increased workload many are\nexperiencing with positions that have been lost and efforts to re-envision the\ncollege continuing. We need to address this significant tension. As we near the end of fall quarter, I\nwant you to know your work is both shared and acknowledged.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With\ninformation sharing in mind, below you will find the videos\nthat were created for the Board of Trustees in advance of their November meeting.&nbsp;
