The New Jim Crow, known as\nMass-Incarceration, is the latest system of social control aimed primarily at\nBlack and Brown Communities. Today more than 2.3 million people are incarcerated\nin Jails, Prisons, and Detention Centers in the United States of America. While\ncrime rates decrease prison populations hold steady due draconian sentencing\npractices and recidivism.
