Dear\nColleagues:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You\nmay or may not be aware that Evergreen belongs to an international consortium\ncalled the Critical\nEdge Alliance (CEA)<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The <\/em>Critical\nEdge Alliance is a global collaborative framework for universities that\nfocus upon student-centered learning, critical thinking, interdisciplinary\nteaching and research, and social engagement.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CEA holds conferences to share innovative\nteaching and learning–this year’s conference has been distilled down to a\nwebinar series in the month of October, focusing on how we can integrate the UN Sustainable Development Goals<\/a> into our work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The webinar series is scheduled for a global\naudience and sessions start at 8:00am on Friday mornings. Please do attend if\nyou can. If you cannot, the webinars will be recorded and available on\nYouTube. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our work on the Olympia EcoDistrict will be\nfeatured in the October 22 session. This would be a great chance to learn more\nabout an initiative that has the potential for student involvement for years to\ncome!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
