I want to let\nyou know about an exciting project a small group of Visual and Media Arts staff\nand interns are working on to create a series of TESC Virtual Galleries. The first will\nfeature selected works from the library permanent collection currently on display\nin the Evergreen Gallery, and another will be a series of online galleries\nfeaturing the work of our visual and media art students. Two in particular\nwe are seeking student participation in are: \u201cVirtual Gallery \u2013\nAll-Level\u201d and \u201cVirtual Gallery \u2013 Senior Works\u201d (titles subject to change).\nThese will be Evergreen\u2019s first series of online only galleries featuring\nartwork created by students over the 2019-2020 academic year. As part of the\nopening event for the Senior Works show on June 9th, the selected\nartists will have the opportunity to participate in a live event where they will\nhave 3-5 minutes to share images and talk about their process and their work.\nThese events will\nbe open to the public and will be an opportunity to showcase some of our students\u2019\nbest work and celebrate virtually with friends and family. The Virtual Galleries will remain on display through\ngraduation and beyond via our Evergreen Gallery site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Important dates and deadlines:<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u202fWe will be sending out an\nemail shortly containing\na series of video tutorials on best practices for shooting artwork with smart\nphones. Feel free to email Ryan Richardson with any questions about taking\nquality pictures.
