It is being approached with\u00a0<strong>changing what we do to prioritize<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>safeguarding individual and collective health by following social distancing directives and guidance,<\/li><li>retaining current students, and<\/li><li>providing quality, remote teaching and basic services that support student success and enrollment\u00a0through April and beyond.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Key to all of this is&nbsp;<strong>coordinated communication<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The work is being conducted by cross-divisional work groups as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Staff Support for Teleworking &amp; Remote Service Delivery<\/span> \u2013 Tony Alfonso, Andy Corn, &amp; Abby Kelso<\/li><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Student Employment Protocol <\/span>\u2013 Colby Morelli &amp; Jennifer Levesque<\/li><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Altered Student Service Delivery &amp; Student Technology Needs<\/span> \u2013 Greg Mullins, Therese Saliba, Eric Pederson<\/li><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Virtual Co-curricular Engagement<\/span> \u2013 Jeannette Smith, Hannah Simonetti, &amp; Dani Clark<\/li><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Coordinated Communication<\/span> \u2013 Amy Betz, Christine Hoffmann, &amp; Julie Slone<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These groups are connected to the work occurring with these key efforts as well:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">RAD &amp; SWS<\/span> \u2013 Sharon Goodman &amp; Elizabeth McHugh<\/li><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Keep Teaching<\/span> \u2013 JuliA Metzker &amp; Elizabeth Williamson<\/li><li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Spring Curriculum Development<\/span> \u2013 Trevor Speller &amp; Larry Geri<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>While many do not have the capability to work remotely and\/or the job responsibilities are not aligned, many have also been doing so as they are able. Thank you to the leads named above as well as colleagues contributing directly and through consultation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an opportunity to clarify priorities and uplift integrated and coordinated work to support student success. We will seek to communicate the outcomes of this work by the end of next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A reminder that the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.evergreen.edu\/covid19\">COVID-19 Information website<\/a>&nbsp;is current and one of the best sources of information for Evergreen students, faculty and staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I hope you are taking care of yourself in order to care for others as well.
