“This institute is designed for faculty currently serving in leadership roles within the division (including CAT leaders, path conveners, faculty scholars and fellows, directors, and deans/associate deans). Our aim is to orient to a shared knowledge base, which will in turn set us up for a robust community of practice in the 22-23 academic year. Areas of emphasis for our collective skill development will include facilitation, supervision, and assessment. All of these leadership arenas are affected by structural power dynamics, and our aim will be to take an anti-racist approach to building these skills. We’ll also spend some time doing substantial individual goal setting, creating road maps for the year ahead that can help us prioritize and document our professional development work.

*Your participation in this institute represents a commitment to our 22-23 leadership community of practice, meaning that you agree to participate in monthly activities. These activities will include pair work and asynchronous work, so please don’t worry that you are signing up for monthly synchronous meetings.*”
