If you were not able to attend either of the fall Title IX trainings, please mark your calendars. The final two trainings for the year will be January 24 from 1-3 and May 4 from 1-3. In both cases, the expectation is that you will complete the short Canvas course before the live component. Self-enroll link for that course is here: https://canvas.evergreen.edu/enroll/EB6LB9
As a reminder, this is an annual requirement, so even if you just did it last spring, you will need to do it again sometime during this academic year. Several of you have pointed out that it would be super helpful to have a dashboard where faculty could check the status of their compliance with this and other training requirements. This is a wholly reasonable notion that I sometimes daydream about when I can’t sleep. I’ll look out for opportunities to make this happen in the future, if/when we have a fully staffed technical support team.
I realize that the timing of the January date does not fall within governance hours. As many of you know, those time slots are built around an Oly Day schedule, which does not work for all faculty, and I’ve made a deliberate effort to be more inclusive of those who do not teach full time in the day.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
