AIDS Memorial Quilt

Evergreen is taking part in making a section for the AIDS Memorial Quilt. As the Quilt marks 35 years since the first names were hand-sewn and stitched into panels as a way to remember loved ones and as an act of activism to demand health and social justice, now more than ever, the National AIDS Memorial relies on support from individual donations and other partners to ensure the Quilt is preserved, protected and able to be shared through community display programs to the lessons of the AIDS pandemic can be taught to future generations.
Come make a section to honor those lost to AIDS.
When: Daily, Week 10
Where: The library on the Olympia campus.
What: Design fabric squares for people that have been lost to the AIDS pandemic

- With the intention to be sewn together and memorialized in the AIDS Memorial Quilt – squares will be collected at the end of each day.
Who: All students, faculty, staff, and alumni!
