Galerie Fotoland is pleased to present Ellen Garvens, professor of Art at the University of Washington in Seattle. Her highly nuanced inkjet prints explore line, texture, color, and space by layering images of sculpture, household items, and figures and then “drawing” with the computer – creating richly detailed images with a depth of color and clarity that is delightedly unexpected.
