Welcome

IMG_4787I am faculty member and botanist at The Evergreen State College where I teach a variety of interdisciplinary team and solo taught programs focusing on vascular plants, lichens, bryophytes, fungi, field ecology, taxonomy, herbarium studies and plant chemistry.

In addition to my role as a faculty member, I am also the Collections Manager at the Evergreen Natural History Museum, where I am actively involved in mentoring students and conducting herbarium-based research. My research interests include biodiversity and conservation studies of bryophytes and lichens, and phytochemistry.
