where we learned to muffle<\/p>\n
the cavities of the body,<\/p>\n
batten the heart down<\/p>\n
on loneliness. Still it beats<\/p>\n
family, family,<\/em> as if the pulse<\/p>\n of our one-to-a-body rivers<\/p>\n ever ran singular. And if nothing<\/p>\n continues \u2013 the body ending<\/p>\n in this fist, everything short<\/p>\n of the mark \u2013 what do we want?<\/p>\n Don\u2019t give me history.
