Abstract:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In this Spring ILC, Plant and Planets<\/a>, the student explored the epistemological foundations behind different systems of land stewardship including biodynamics, and traditional ecological knowledge, as well compiled a hand crafted Materia Medica using astrology as a language of symbols to provide a deeper knowledge of medicinal plants. The student also worked as the Student Coordinator for the Medieval Herb garden at the Evergreen Organic Farm and planted hyssop to be used in SPSCC’s Brewing and Distilling Program.<\/p>\n
