Here are 3 example problems for the read code competency. If you run the program, you will see the answer displayed, which is the output that the program produces. The question will be the source code which you can view. Print out the source code. See if you can get the correct results. If you are wrong at some step, see if you can figure out your error, or ask. You can get this down if you stay after it. You will, however, not figure it out without some work. Every competency will be different, so don’t try to memorize. Instead, learn to think like the computer and trace what it is doing.
