beautiful day in Villafranco!

It’s a Ponferrada kinda day. Met my bossom buddies, Hunter and Rachael and I have a new kindred spirit, Marianthe. Will stay here tonight and bus it to catch up a little to make up for the stop. I am excited to spend some time with these guys.

Cruz de Ferro at sunrise. I had the place all to myself so I could spend some time in quiet reflection. I am now in Molinaseca.

Last day in León. All shops closed and I must get a new walking stick as mine broke in a bunk bed incident. Will leave tomorrow and head straight for Astorga as that is where my timeline would put me. Major hills approaching and I must have my sticks.

Had the best jamon y queso croissant this morning. The sun is shining in more ways than one, I love my life.

Met up with Aaron today. So good to share stories. Hung out with my new Canadian friend Monique. Will maybe stay another day to rest as I have not done that yet and take a day to go to the doctor.

My injury is saying hello today. Guess I’ve been overdoing it. Looking forward to 2 days in León.
