Eating y Comiendo

PRIMERO QUIERO DECIRLES QUE YA TENGO UNA LISTA DE COMIDAS QUE YO VOY A COMER CUANDO REGRESO A CALIFORNIA. THIS LIST WAS FIRST CREATED ON MY DAY 1 ON EL CAMINO FRANCES, WHILE PHIL AND I WERE SLOWLY DYING ON THAT FINAL, BODY-DESTROYING CLIMB TO RONCESVALLES. TODAY IS MY DAY 18 AND THE DREAM FOOD LIST HAS BECOME A BEACON OF LIGHT THAT KEEPS ME GOING. THE LIST GOES AS SUCH:
-VANILLA MILKSHAKE
-THAI CHICKEN FRIED RICE (IF SPICE CAN BE ADDED THEN IT SHALL BE)
-CARNE ASADA BURRITO WITH BEANS AND RICE ON THE SIDE (ALSO SALSA!!)
-CRÊPES WITH LEMON AND POWDER SUGAR
-POTATO AND BROCCOLI SOUP
-STEAK WITH TERIYAKI SAUCE
IN THE SPIRIT OF BEING FRUGAL, IT HAS BECOME QUITE NORMAL FOR ME TO REGULARLY CONSUME THE SAME TYPES OF FOOD. I USUALLY COOK FOR MYSELF, MORE LIKELY IF THE ALBERGUE HAS A COCINA WE CAN USE, AND IF I HAVE THE FOOD AVAILABLE.
MY NEAR DAILY FOODS CONSIST OF:
-BANANA(S)
-KIWI(S)
-BREAD
-POTATO CHIPS
-SOME TYPE OF CHOCOLATE [USUALLY A SNICKERS BAR (sidenote: WHY ARE THERE NO DARK CHOCOLATE SNICKERS TO BE FOUND?!?!) OR THESE SUPER DELICIOSO CHOCOLATE ENERGY GRANOLA BARS]
-PASTA
-PEANUTS OR CORN NUTS OR A NUT VARIETY PACK
-CHEESE
OTHER FOODS THAT ARE NOT CONSUMED DAILY, BUT ARE CONSUMED OFTEN ENOUGH TO MAKE NOTE OF:
-MEAT (USUALLY CHORIZO OR LOMO)
-VERDURAS (USUALLY SALADS OR CARROTS BECAUSE CARROTS ARE AWESOME)
-YOGURT (I HAVE STUMBLED UPON THE DELICIOUSNESS THAT IS YOGUR AZUCARADO, BLESS)
-APPLES
-ORANGE JUICE
-ICE CREAM!!!! (MY FAVE IS THE MAGNUM DOUBLE CARAMEL, ONLY 2€)
-OTHER CANDIES
-DONUTS AND OTHER TREATS FROM PANADERIAS Y PASTELERIAS
-STRAWBERRIES
-RICE CAKES
-BUTTER
-TORTILLAS
THE COMMON DISHES I PREPARE FOR MYSELF ARE PASTA (WITH CHEESE AND/OR BUTTER), QUESADILLAS, BREAD AND BUTTER, APPLES AND CHEESE.
BREAKFAST: A BANANA OR KIWI, AND BREAD OF SOME SORT.
SNACK: SNICKERS/ENERGY BAR, BAG OF NUTS, KIWI OR APPLE, CANDY, POTATO CHIPS (IT’S NORMALLY WHATEVER I HAVE AVAILABLE TO EAT AND IS WITHIN REACH WHILE I WALK BECAUSE THE WEATHER HAS NOT BEEN VERY PLEASANT FOR LEISURELY BREAKS)
LUNCH/DINNER (ONCE I ARRIVE AT AN ALBERGUE): POTATO CHIPS, BREAD AND BUTTER, PASTA, FRUIT, QUESADILLAS, ETC. IT IS BASICALLY ME INHALING THE REST OF THE FOOD I AM CARRYING AND THEN I GO OUT AND BUY MORE AFTER SIESTA FOR DINNER AND THE NEXT DAY.
ALRIGHT, I HAVE BEEN TAKING A FEW PHOTOS OF SOME OF MY MEALS TO SHOW YOU ALL MY DISHES. (MOST OF THESE ARE DINNER DISHES AS I TURN MY IPHONE ON WHEN I ARRIVE AT THE albergue).

MY FRIEND PAOLO GENEROUSLY SHARED HIS ITALIAN STYLE PASTA WITH ME IN THE PHOTO ABOVE.

ON THIS NIGHT I ACTUALLY WENT OUT AND BOUGHT A HAMBURGER AT THE BAR AT THE ALBERGUE. PAOLO AND I ARE HERE EATING NUESTROS HAMBURGUESAS SIN HUEVOS.
