She is the author of four full-length books:\u00a0<em>The Devastation<\/em>\u00a0(Nightboat 2015),\u00a0<em>For Want and Sound<\/em>\u00a0(Les Figues, 2013),\u00a0<em>Face<\/em>\u00a0(Bookthug, 2009) and\u00a0<em>What Began Us<\/em>\u00a0(Leon Works, 2007). She teaches creative writing at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and maintains a radical palm reading practice. At one time, she went to Cornell and then to Iowa.
