His work has been called \u201cfreakishly egoless\u201d, vulnerable, funny and queer. Offenbacher grew up in Portland, Oregon, and currently lives in Seattle, Washington. He runs a press which publishes \u2018zines and books by Northwest artists. His essays include\u00a0<em>Green Gothic<\/em>\u00a0(2009), which has become a landmark in Pacific Northwest art history. Recent exhibitions and projects include\u00a0<em>The V&amp;A<\/em>\u00a0at Veronica,\u00a0<em>Deed of Gift<\/em>\u00a0at the Seattle Art Museum, and\u00a0<em>Flower Painting at Lather Daddy Laundromat<\/em>.
